Position Title:

Master Ceramist/Porcelain Dept. Manager

Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for an advanced/master level CDT ceramist who excels at building/contouring crowns and veneers from start to finish with great form and color.  In addition, must have a strong ability in managing other employees, quality control, customer technical support and working in a team setting with a production manager to meet deadlines.

Position Title:

Customer Service/Data Entry Associate

Job Location:

Southfield, MI 48075

 

Job Summary:

Responsibilities include answering phone calls from dental offices / customers, unpacking incoming dental cases, disinfecting cases, entering case info / data entry, packing outgoing cases, and sorting / scheduling cases for delivery routes for on-site delivery drivers and UPS /DHL / Fed Ex.  In addition, periodically will assist managers with special projects. 

 

Job Requirements:.

Ø  1 year of verifiable dental industry/laboratory work related experience required.

Ø  Willing and able to walk up/down stairs to retrieve cases several times daily.

Ø  Must be able to communicate effectively with administrative offices, dentists, dental technicians and other related parties regarding case status. 

Ø  Willing to consent to background check and drug testing.

Ø  Able and willing to work Monday – Friday 8 am-5 pm or 10am-7pm shift.  Occasional overtime (1-2 hours) when required. 

Ø  Clean and maintain equipment after use as required.

 

Knowledge and Abilities:

Ø  Advanced knowledge of dental terminology required. 

Ø  Computer literate and able to use a personal computer.  Experience with dental laboratory industry specific software (Labnet 8.0) very favorable. 

Ø  Ability to operate multi-line phone system.

Ø  Ability to work both in a team setting and periodically independently with minimal supervision. 

Ø  Good typing skills.

 

Compensation and Benefits:

Full-Time: Hourly + insurance/benefits (180 day qualifying period)

Part-Time: Hourly wage.  No insurance/benefits.
